Step-By-Step Guide on How to Use CryptoYou Cross-Chain Exchange

In this tutorial, we will provide a step-by-step guide on how to use CryptoYou, the cross-chain hybrid exchange.

Before you can utilize CryptoYou, it is necessary to complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process and answer a few questions. To access the KYC process, click on “Connect Wallet” and link your wallet. CryptoYou supports all the major wallets.

Please be aware that only European Union citizens are permitted to use CryptoYou. If you are operating as a business, you must also complete the business KYC. The approval process on the CryptoYou platform may take up to 24 hours.

Once you have been approved, you are all set to begin.

For this example, we will demonstrate how to swap 26 GLMR from the Moonbeam network to USDT on the Polygon network from your MetaMask wallet.

First, choose the source network (Moonbeam) and token (GLMR), as well as the destination network (Matic) and token (USDT). Next, select the amount of GLMR you wish to swap.

CryptoYou will display the amount of USDT you will receive, along with the fee (2.87% in this example). Please note that the fee may vary based on the network and the amount. The more you will swap the lower the fees will be.

When you are ready to proceed with the swap enter the destination address and click the “Swap” button.

MetaMask will prompt you to confirm the transaction, initiating the process.

At this step, no funds are moved. You are just confirming your intention to make a swap. The process can now start.

Afterward, CryptoYou will open MetaMask again to request transaction confirmation. Please be patient, as it may take a few minutes for MetaMask to appear.

Once you have confirmed the transaction in MetaMask, the smart contract will send your funds to CryptoYou to make the swap. Simply wait for it to finish.

That’s it!

Please note the duration of the cross-chain swap depends on the chosen network and its congestion, which may take up to 30 minutes.
